Our maple delicacies
Only pure maple syrup is imported from our farm in Canada to Switzerland were it is then transformed. All products made with our maple syrup are available under the brand MAWOO of Made in Maple Sàrl.
How maple syrup is made
The production of maple syrup, maple sugaring, is specific to the north eastern part of America. Over 70% of maple syrup is produced exclusively in the province of Québec in Canada. It is a combination of naturally occurring maple tree forests or sugar bushes, and favorable climatic conditions that make this region ideal for maple syrup production. As the process of making maple syrup is often not well known, we would like to show you what goes on behind the scenes.
